This sweet girl was abandoned in an apartment by her owner. Now, she needs a new home.

Millie

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society are Millie the dog and Mr. Roboto the cat.

Millie is a one to two-year-old female pit bull terrier.

“She was adopted from us back in July and brought back after her adopter left her in an apartment when they moved out,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She loves spending time with people and absolutely loves kids.

“She has a very high prey drive so should not be around other animals.”

Millie is also described as a “couch potato” that loves to cuddle and play with toys.

She is housebroken, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Oh, and she can climb a chain link fence.

Mr. Roboto

Mr. Roboto is a five-month-old male kitten described as “shy.”

“He came in with his litter mates and mom and is the only one left,” Serena said. “He is very playful and loves treats.”

Mr. Roboto was recently treated for ring worm and has been released from a medical hold.

He is also litter box trained and microchipped.

You can meet Millie, Mr. Roboto and the other 46 dogs and 34 cats at the animal shelter located at 891 East Road.
