This sweet girl is super kid-friendly, loves to play in water and take walks.

Say hi to Pandora!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Pandora, a three to four-year-old female Dalmatian/Heeler mix.

“This sweet girl is a little shy when first meeting new people, but warms up very nicely,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “Once she gets to know you, she wants all the attention.”

Pandora is kid and dog-friendly, but does not like cats or livestock.

She loves to play in water and take walks. She is good on a leash and will jump on you when she’s excited. (In fact, she can also jump 4-foot fence.)

Pandora is housebroken, crate-trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Easter Bunny is a one to two-year-old female domestic shorthair tuxedo cat.

“When she first came in, she wanted nothing to do with people,” Serena said. “She would hiss and swat at everyone that tried to give her attention.”

But that’s all changed and now she loves attention!

Easter Bunny is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.

And don’t forget that cat adoptions are only $20 through the end of June.
