This sweet girl is scared of storms; she has been at the shelter since 2023 and desperately needs a loving home.

Say hi to Cinnamon.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Cinnamon, a three to four-year-old female black mouth/cur mix.

“This sweet girl is great on a leash and loves going for walks,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“She is a little weary of new people, but once she is comfortable, she will meet you with a hearty tail wag.”

Cinnamon is house and crate-trained and does well when left alone.

“She values her people and space and can be protective of both,” Serena said. “She is terrified of storms and may need some extra reassurance during rough weather.”

Cinnamon is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

She has been at the shelter since April 2023.

Jacko is a one to two-year-old female domestic shorthair.

Jacko is a total sweetie.

“She is a very sweet cat that absolutely loves pets but isn't 100% comfortable being picked up,” Serena said.

“She likes to lounge in her kennel and occasionally bat at a puff ball.”

Jacko is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
