This pretty Anatolian Shepard is looking for an active family to adopt him.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Ceasar, a year-and-a-half-old male Anatolian Shepard.
“Ceasar was adopted from us back in July 2026, but was returned after his adopter discovered his bad habit of chewing on things,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“Ceasar can be nervous at first, but once he gets to know you, he's a happy, fun-loving pup.”
When in foster care, Ceasar got along well with other dogs, although his playful energy was a bit much for the smaller dogs in the home.
“We are unsure of how he is around cats,” Serena said.
“Ceasar will need a home without livestock, as he enjoyed chasing goats and chickens in his foster home.
“Due to his bad habit of destruction, we believe Ceasar would thrive in an active home with a yard and plenty of positive outlets for his energy.”
Ceasar is crate trained and absolutely loves car rides, making him an easy fit for many households.
He is also neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
Cheetah is a six-month-old spayed female kitten found as a stray and never reclaimed.
“This sweet girl is an absolute lovebug who can't get enough affection,” Serena said.

“Cheetah is always purring and happily making biscuits whenever she's getting attention.
"She would much rather spend time soaking up pets and love from her favorite people than playing with toys.”
Cheetah is partially vaccinated and pending a microchip.
