Say hi to Trapper.
Say hi to Trapper.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Trapper, a lovable puppy with energy to spare.

Surrendered for being "unwanted," this sweet boy is ready to find his forever home.

“Trapper is your classic untrained pup - full of curiosity, enthusiasm and the occasional case of the zoomies,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“He's still learning the ropes, but shows great promise. When the other dogs start barking, he joins the choir but overall, he's just eager to belong.”

Trapper’s previous owner says he did well with cats, dogs and kids, and he's proven himself to be a good playmate when paired with another pup his size during shelter rotations.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

Vivian is a three to four-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“This lovely lady was found as a stray and never reclaimed,” Serena said. “She is the queen of cozy corners and quiet affection.”

Vivian spent time in foster care after giving birth to kittens, and now that her mom duties are behind her, it's her turn to be pampered.

She is incredibly sweet, with a soft meow she uses to politely announce her presence.

“Vivian loves affection and is a champion snuggler when blankets are involved and has a special talent for finding every hidey-hole in the house for a quiet nap,” Serena said.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
