This playful kitten loves to dance and play. (And she has the sweetest little meow.)

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Mortgage, a seven-month-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is a silly little kitten that loves to play,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She would benefit from a home that can offer lots of scratching posts and toys to swat around. She has the sweetest little meow and leans into your touch when you pet her.”
Mortgage is an indoor only cat and is litter box trained.
“She can be a trip hazard because she likes to dance around your feet when you walk,” Serena said. “She is microchipped, but has not been spayed yet. But if you adopt her, we will make an appointment for her to be spayed.”
Jake is a three to four-year-old male pit mix.

“He is a very loving and playful boy who needs an active home,” Serena said.
Jake is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
If you would like to meet Mortgage or Jake, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
