This older lady needs a home. Meet this week’s featured pets up for adoption at ECHS.

Brisket

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include an eight-year-old female Black Lab/Pyrenees mix named Brisket.

“She is a big girl weighing in at 102 pounds, but she has a surprising amount of energy,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She is a lovely older lady that adores people and enjoys life.”

Brisket appears to be friendly, but a meet and greet is always recommended. She likes to play with toys, but a cozy bed is her favorite.

Brisket is good on a leash, spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

El Capitan

El Capitan is a male kitten described as shy until he gets to know you and likes to be patted on his head.

He is litter box trained and microchipped.

If you would like to meet Brisket, El Capitan or the other 79 dogs or 90 cats that need new homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
