This new Stephenville boutique specializes in permanent jewelry, fun and happiness. You should go!

Emily Griffin, owner of Juniper Jewelry Bar, shows me the process of making a forever bracelet. (And I'm in love with it!)

Stepping into Juniper Jewelry Bar feels a little like stepping into the happiest place on earth.

Stephenville’s new downtown boutique is a cozy, cheerful space lit with bright, vibrant colors and filled with unique jewelry you can’t find just anywhere.

Owner Emily Griffin (formerly Hutson) is a 2012 graduate of SHS and a 2015 graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

“I love Stephenville’s downtown revitalization,” she told Beneath the Surface News. “I am from here and I think it’s special that so many people are working together to bring in new things to do; I wanted to be a part of that.”

With a dream of owning her own business, Emily and her husband Zane purchased the building on Long Street and revamped it into a quaint boutique that specializes in permanent jewelry.

Its hottest seller – forever bracelets – are custom fit and welded on.

The bracelets are 14-karat gold filled or sterling silver, so they won’t tarnish, and range from $40-$85.

Juniper caters to individuals looking to add a unique piece of permanent jewelry to their style, groups of women looking for a girls day out and couples who want matching bracelets.

“It’s really a lot of fun,” Emily said. “I have met so many nice people. One group of ladies from Mineral Wells came in not long ago for bracelets. They were supporting a friend who was going through a rough divorce.

“Each of the women got different bracelets, but they told her that every time they look at it, they will pray for her. It was really special to be a part of that.

“And we offer free champagne too, so they enjoyed that!”

Groups are encouraged to make an appointment, which can be done by clicking here, but walk-ins are also welcome.

Juniper takes reservations for birthdays and other celebrations and participates in nearby pop-up events like the one scheduled for Sept. 22 at Hico Mercantile.

And for those looking for a more private experience, Emily will bring the party to your home.

Juniper also carries unique earrings, necklaces, rings and anklets, phone wallets, purses, stadium compliant (clear) bags and a slew of cute sorority stuff.

And next week it will begin selling permanent necklaces.

The adorable black and white storefront is set in a white picket fence and is open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Stop by. You will love it.
