This golf scramble is raising money for the Erath County Humane Society. Here’s how to enter.

An upcoming golf scramble aimed at raising money for the Erath County Humane Society is taking place on Saturday, Aug. 19, at Tejas Golf Course in Stephenville.

The cost to enter the third annual Putts Fore Mutts is $260 for a four-player team.

The 18-hole scramble begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, longest drive and closest to the hole.

Players will receive a swag bag that includes an event T-shirt, golf balls, tees, towel, koozie and coupons from local businesses.
