Say hi to Guy!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Guy, a three to four-year-old male Blue Heeler mix.

“Guy is a very friendly boy that warms up quickly to new people,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. He loves attention and giving big old slobbery kisses.”

Guy knows how to play fetch and loves tug of war.

He gets excited when he sees people he likes and walks fairly well on a leash.

“He won't stay in a crate for lengthy amounts of time, but seems to be potty trained while in his kennel,” Serena said.

“He would do best as an only dog. We were told he had a bite history before coming to the shelter, but we have not seen any aggression from him.

“We do recommend an adult-only home.”

Guy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

He has been at the shelter since August.

Bagheera

Bagheera is a one-year-old male domestic longhair.

“This very handsome boy is super sweet,” Serena said. “He loves attention and he thinks pets are the best.”

He isn’t fond of being picked up, but loves affection.

Bagheera will get neutered and receive a rabies vaccine this week.
