This dog was surrendered because of aggressive behavior. Now he needs love and a friendly home.

Kovu

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Kovu, a one-year-old male Husky/Catahoula mix.

“He was surrendered due to being aggressive,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He has shown no aggression since he has been with us since August. Interactions with him have always been pleasant and playful.”

Kovu is microchipped and knows how to sit and shake. He doesn't do well in a crate and would likely do best in a friendly adult-only home with no children.

Pineapple

Pineapple is a two-year-old female domestic shorthair that also needs a forever home.

“She is a very sweet cat,” Serena said. “She seems to be dog friendly, but doesn't enjoy the company of other cats.”

Pineapple is litter box trained and microchipped.

If you would like to meet Kovu, Pineapple and the other 71 dogs and 73 cats that need homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
