The family of Jayden McKinney is honoring his memory by establishing a scholarship fund that will be awarded to Stephenville High School students.
“We are too late to award a scholarship this year, so it will begin next year,” Jayden’s aunt Kimmie McKinney told Beneath the Surface News.
If you would like to donate, there are two ways to give.
You can make a donation to the Jayden McKinney memorial fund at TexasBank in Stephenville or through Venmo @JaydenMcKinneyEndowmentFund.
“All the money will go into the same scholarship fund,” Kimmie said. “These donations will help us continue spreading Jayden’s love and generosity through scholarships for years to come.”
Jayden, a 15-year-old freshman at SHS, passed away in an accident on March 26.
He loved to fish, play soccer, baseball, football and basketball.
