The Perfect Couple should be your next read; this NYT’s bestseller is becoming a Netflix series.

If you like a well-spun murder mystery in a beautiful setting, you should download Elin Hilderbrand’s New York Time’s bestseller, The Perfect Couple, right now.

Seriously, don’t wait another second.

This is the best book I’ve read in years.

I stumbled upon The Perfect Couple after reading that Netflix is making it into a mini-series starring Nicole Kidman, Eve Hewson, Meghann Fahy and a few other beautiful stars I’ve never heard of.

Hilderbrand doesn’t waste any time getting to the good stuff.

The Perfect Couple is set in Nantucket and begins with a dead body floating up to the shoreline on what is to be the wedding day of Celeste Otis who is set to marry Benji Winbury, an heir to one of the island’s wealthiest families.

Celeste is the one who discovers the body of her best friend and maid of honor, Merritt Monaco, and as police work to unravel the whodunit, a slew of tawdry secrets is revealed.

The unexpected twists Hilderbrand takes before finally revealing what really happened to poor Merrick is a journey you don’t want to skip.

This book kept me up at night, flipping pages at 2 a.m. just to find out what happens next.

The Perfect Couple is the perfect summer read and will serve as a reminder that money can’t buy happiness and love is full of all kinds of tricky complications.

I can’t wait for the mini-series.

I’ve committed to reading a book a week all summer.

I just started The Magic of Sea Glass by Jenny Hall and I think I’m going to love it.

Stay tuned.
