The Stephenville Evening Lions Club has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Upland Bird Extravaganza.

But that’s not stopping the group from moving forward with plans to raise money for local youth.

They have expanded the raffle and are selling tickets for $100 each.

A few of the prizes include a night for two at Rough Creek Lodge with a bird hunt and meals, two outdoor grills with ribeye steaks, a diamond necklace from Swindle's Jewelry and a custom felt hat for women from Capital Hatters.

Tickets can be purchased from any Stephenville Lions Club member, Tanglewood Pharmacy, First Financial Bank, Discount Wheel and Tire, Star Arms or on the group’s Facebook page.

The drawing will be held during the 25th Annual Upland Bird Extravaganza Shooting Events on Aug. 8 at Rough Creek Lodge.

You do not have to be present to win.
