The Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo is on and they could use a few good sponsors.

One of Stephenville’s biggest and most iconic events of the year - The Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo – is set for Sept. 25-27 at Lone Star Arena.

The rodeo committee has been busy making plans for this year’s event, taking into consideration the ever-changing environment and challenging times due to COVID-19.

“We share a common goal of providing our community a western celebration that everyone can enjoy; a family-friendly event that is full of patriotism, honest and true try from the competitors - both human and animal - as well as sheer explosive entertainment!” states a release from the committee. The annual rodeo brings thousands of fans to Stephenville each year and is a five-time nominee of the PRCA Medium Size Rodeo of the Year and an eight-time winner of the Justin Boots Best Footing Award in the WPRA Texas Circuit.

This year, the Cowboy Channel will broadcast the rodeo performances live on TV and streaming app allowing over 42 million households to watch Stephenville’s PRCA Rodeo.
