The city of Hamilton’s police chief has been arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a young child.



A man entrusted with public safety has been arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a young child.

Tony Yocham, the acting police chief of the city of Hamilton, was arrested by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department. No additional information about the case has been released.

Yocham is also a former deputy with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office who was terminated by Sheriff Matt Coates.

Earlier this year, Yocham set his sights on becoming the next Somervell County sheriff but lost to incumbent Alan West.
