The Big Axe House is set to open just in time for the weekend. Who’s ready to throw?

If you’re ready for some good news and itching for a little fun, consider this your lucky day.

A new entertainment venue that will test your axe throwing ability is set to open tonight (Friday) in Stephenville.

The Big Axe House will be open from 4 p.m.–midnight.

“We are excited to bring something cool and interesting to Stephenville and we hope you will come see us tonight,” owner Justin Nelson told BTS News.

The cost is $19.99 a person per hour.

Customers can bring in beer and wine (but not too much because, well, axes are involved), but absolutely no hard liquor is allowed.

Closed-toed shoes are also required.

“We have 10 lanes that will all be open tonight and it’s BYOB,” Nelson said. “Reservations are not required, but they are appreciated.”

The Big Axe House is located at 6560 S. U.S. Hwy. 377.

This is the second axe throwing venue Nelson has opened. His first, Parker County Axe Co., is located in Weatherford.
