The family and I recently enjoyed a little Texas history with a tour through Brenham, Gonzalez and San Antonio.
We spent the night in Brenham because just north of that is Washington on the Brazos.
My son Jaxon is a Texas history nut (I am too!) so we went to the birthplace of Texas.
But before that, we stopped for lunch at a place I discovered while I was in Brenham a few weeks prior for a real estate class.
Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Steakhouse has some of the best Mexican food you will ever have.
I ordered the trio fajitas; chicken, beef, shrimp and plenty of vegetables and tomatoes.
The meat was tender and had an amazing flavor. The beans were bold and spicy and the rice was great.
I washed it down with not one, but two, sangrias.
The next time you find yourself in Brenham, check out the Blue Bell Creamery and stop by Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Steakhouse for a great meal.
