Tarleton State University will host its third annual Giving Week March 30-April 3, bringing together alumni, faculty, staff and friends to support scholarships, programs and initiatives that enhance student success.
Organized through the Division of Institutional Advancement, Giving Week highlights opportunities for donors to contribute to areas they are most passionate about, including academic colleges, student organizations, athletics and campus programs.
"Giving Week is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together," said Tony Vidmar, vice president for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director for the Tarleton State University Foundation.
"Our theme for this week is ‘momentum.’ The support of our donors and friends fuels the unprecedented growth of our university.
“Every gift, no matter the size, creates opportunities for our students and strengthens Tarleton State’s future."
Throughout the week, participants can engage in various challenges, matches and social media campaigns aimed at increasing participation and maximizing donor impact.
These initiatives are designed to encourage friendly competition among colleges and departments while amplifying support for key university priorities.
In 2025, the second annual Giving Week generated $550,000 from more than 500 gifts, reflecting continued growth in donor engagement and support across Tarleton State and building on the strong foundation of the previous year, which helped fund scholarships and critical resources benefiting students across all campuses.
Tarleton State aims to build on that momentum by increasing participation and expanding the reach of the campaign.

Donations can also be made in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Administration Building.

As a current PhD student juggling my research and a part-time role at Last Minute Assignments, I truly appreciate initiatives like Tarleton State University’s Giving Week. Back in my college days, I struggled a lot with managing assignments and deadlines, so I developed a deep interest in helping others through academic support. Working with students via Assignment Writing Service has allowed me to assist them while staying conscientious about my own studies. Events that encourage giving and supporting communities resonate deeply with me, as I know firsthand the value of guidance and support.
