The Department of Visual Arts and Design at Tarleton State University will present “Echoes and Fragments” featuring the works of Paho Mann in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Gallery Jan. 15 to Feb. 5.
The exhibition is a photography and lens-based show in which the artist investigates the cultural and interpersonal relationships between humans and the objects we surround ourselves with.
Fascinated by how digital tools affect our interpretation of the world around us, Mann highlights the complicated relationship between tradition and innovation.
He has been featured at venues including the Arizona State University Art Museum, the Walker Art Center and the Carnegie Museum of Art.
Since receiving his Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 2007, Mann has taught at the University of North Texas in the College of Visual Arts and Design.
