Dr. William Ford will direct Tarleton State University’s Jazz I ensemble in “The Voices of Swing,” the group’s first concert of the semester, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Auditorium in Stephenville.
The show will feature vocalists Kylee Russell and Martin Davenport and will feature the Glenn Miller Orchestra’s “In The Mood,” Frank Sinatra’s “Luck Be A Lady” and “Fly Me To The Moon,” Bernie, Pinkard and Casey’s “Sweet Georgia Brown,” Bill Finegan’s “Little Brown Jug,” and Sammy Nestico’s “Tall Cotton.”
Admission is $5 for students and $10 for the general public.
