Tarleton places men’s head basketball coach on temporary leave amid anonymous complaint.

Tarleton State Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Steve Uryasz announced Friday that Billy Gillispie, the university’s head men’s basketball coach, has been placed on temporary leave.
A statement released by the university states that “the Texas A&M University System has initiated an employee conduct review after receiving an anonymous complaint, and Texan Men's Basketball head coach Billy Gillispie has been placed on temporary administrative leave.”
Associate head coach Glynn Cyprien has been named as the acting head coach.
Beneath the Surface News has requested more information about the suspension, but was told there would be no further comment during the ongoing investigation.
The men’s basketball team is slated to take part in an exhibition game on Oct. 19 at the EECU Center.
