Surepoint Stephenville hires Dublin native as its new nurse manager.
Surepoint Emergency Center Stephenville has a new nurse manager that many of you may know.
After caring for patients all across North Texas, Sheila Bishop has made her way back to Erath County, and she couldn’t be happier.
“I was born and raised in Dublin. In fact, my dad still lives in the house that I grew up in,” Sheila told Beneath the Surface News. “I am a Tarleton (State University) alumnus and so are my four children.”
Sheila said practicing medicine in a rural community is special and unique because it often means the caregiver knows the patient.
“It’s very exciting to be home and it’s an honor to care for the patients that I know,” she said.
Sheila has worked at other Surepoint emergency centers and said the best thing about the company is the specialized care it offers patients.
“We offer concierge medical care and have limited wait times,” Sheila said. “We enjoy fluffing pillows and getting to know our patients. This is a place people want to bring their parents.
“We handle the simple things, but can take care of the more serious things as well.”
