Studio 6:14 now offering adult dance classes.

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

If hearing a song by Madonna, Janet Jackson or Prince sets your body into automatic dance-mode, you should make plans to be at Studio 6:14 Dance & Performing Arts about 7 p.m. on Thursday.

That’s when the dance studio will unveil its new adult classes.

“We are inviting folks to try a class for free this week,” owner Brittany Thurman told Beneath the Surface News. “The theme is 80's dance party so dress in your best 80's attire and be prepared to have some fun.

“We will use party lights with minimal overhead lighting.”

No dance experience is necessary and everyone who attends Thursday’s trial class will be entered into a drawing to win one free month.

The adult classes – with a new theme every month – will be held at 7:15 p.m. every Thursday.

Oh, and there is still time to register for Studio 6:14’s fall classes, which include Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Cheer/Tumble and Acrodance and others designed just for toddlers.
