Still searching for a Halloween costume? Here’s a list of this year’s hottest trends.

You know you’re getting old when you scour the list of 2024’s hottest Halloween costumes and barely recognize any.

Apparently, I’m not a trendsetter.

But if you are, you will likely appreciate these various lists I’ve put together to help you look your best for those upcoming costume parties.

Google’s top trending costumes include:

1.     Shrunken Head Bob (from Beetlejuice)

2. Raygun (Australian breakdancer)

3. CatNap (from the “Poppy Playtime” video game)

4. Delores (from Beetlejuice)

5. Pomni (from “The Amazing Digital Circus” series)

   
   

   

6. Envy (from Inside Out 2)

7. Red (from Descendants)

8. Dr. Doom

9. Sabrina Carpenter

10. Lady Deadpool

11. Chipotle burrito

Elle also weighed in on this year’s trends. (See the full list here.)

They suggest mimicking Beyonce’s cowgirl look with a felt hat, Cowboy Carter sash and wide-cut jeans.

Or you can go as Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill or Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries.

Elle also suggests dressing up as Chappell Roan, Disco Dance Barbie, Taylor Swift (from the Eras tour) or donning Rihanna’s red Super Bowl look.

FOR THE GUYS

Men’s Health lists its top 58 costumes for men, which includes a Marvel superhero (of course), Barbie’s boyfriend Ken and The Joker.

They also suggest Slivomi from Beetlejuice, Alan from The Hangover and a Top Gun flight suit.

For those who don’t tend to get overheated, you can also dress up as Big Foot.

FOR THE KIDS

Topping the list of Good Housekeeping’s best kids’ costumes of 2024 is a “Stanley Quencher.”

(You know, those gigantic tumblers we are all carrying around.)

They also suggest Beetlejuice, Minions, Coraline and Charizard from Pokemon.

So, there you have it.

Now go and get yourself some candy.
