A Stephenville resident is continuing to fight to survive COVID-19 after contracting the virus two weeks ago.

And it appears they are winning.

Dr. Kelly Doggett said the patient is slowly improving and was recently moved out of ICU into a regular hospital room.

“They are still dependent on oxygen, but they have improved,” Dr. Doggett told BTS News.

“They have been in the hospital now for almost two weeks and there are no plans for discharge. They are still quite ill.”
