The cities of Stephenville and Dublin are gearing up to host their annual community-wide Easter egg hunts.

Both events are free.

Stephenville will host the “Megga Hunt” from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 4, at Stephenville City Park.

The annual event is co-sponsored by the city and Timber Ridge Church.

Along with the hunt, there will be games, activities and bounce houses.

DUBLIN’S EGGSTRAVAGANZA

Dublin’s 5th annual EGGStravaganza will take place from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Dublin City Park.

The hunts will be divided by ages with prize baskets and special eggs in each division.

All hunts begin at 9:30 a.m.

There will also be free food and photos with the Easter Bunny and chick.

The event is co-sponsored by The Dublin Citizen and Dublin Dairy Queen, with nonprofit sponsor CWJC.

"All holidays are something every child should be able to enjoy. Making smiles and memories is what this Easter event is about, DQ manager Shanna Phelps told Beneath the Surface News.

“Our community support has been great throughout the years and the kids enjoy being able to spend Easter in their hometown.”

Dublin Citizen content editor Wyndi Veigel-Gaudette said the hunt will include more than 16,000 eggs.
