Dancers with Stephenville Dance Center competing in the Showstopper dance competition last weekend in Arlington brought home three first place Overall titles and placed in the top five Overall titles in 11 other pieces.

“In addition to the great dancing that made me so proud, these girls exuded camaraderie, encouragement, friendship, teamwork and professionalism which is the real reason we do this,” owner Renee Burdick told Beneath the Surface News. “I love all of these kids and can’t wait to see their hard work come together for the big show this weekend.”

That ‘big show’ is a large production featuring the dance version of Aladdin June 4-5 at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center auditorium at Tarleton State University.
