Nothing says family-fun like the city of Stephenville’s annual Fourth of July celebration.
This year’s events will take place on Friday, July 4, and kick off with the traditional parade at 9 a.m.
The parade will begin at the south entrance of Stephenville City Park, turn left on Graham Street, left on Washington and left on Harbin where it will come to an end.
Make plans to hang around City Park where food vendors will be set up from noon-10 p.m.
Lawnmower races will roar to life from 1-5 p.m. and inflatables and lawn games will offer fun for all ages from 3-8 p.m.
Spend the evening listening to great music at Birdsong Amphitheater starting at 6 p.m. with Presley Haile, Nick Brumley and Race Ricketts followed by Larry Joe Taylor.
The concert is free and you’re invited to bring chairs, blankets and coolers.
The day of fun will culminate with a fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m.
But the fun doesn’t end there.
The holiday weekend will continue with a farmer and artisan market from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the downtown plaza.
There will be live music by Riley Gilbreath.
See you there!
