It was a sight you don’t often see in Stephenville, Texas.
Â
Tow trucks carrying a collection of high-end luxury cars owned by Clayton Iley (think Rezvani Tank, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Mercedes, Corvettes, Camaros, Porches, Apocalypse Hellfire, Ferrari and McLarens) were seen Tuesday afternoon traveling through the city.
Â
Â
That same day, Iley was transferred from the Erath County Jail to a federal detention center.
Iley was arrested in Stephenville on April 24 and charged with theft and money laundering.

Â
He is accused of using social media to spread false information about his military connections (read that story here) and to allegedly develop a Ponzi scheme that netted him millions.
Two weeks after his arrest, the feds charged him with wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
Â
A source told Beneath the Surface News that the feds are handing the seizure and liquidation of the vehicles.
Â
Â
Iley has reportedly hired Warren St. John, a high-profile attorney from Fort Worth to represent him.
St. John was the lead defense attorney who represented Eddie Ray Routh, the man convicted of murdering Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield at Rough Creek Lodge in 2013.
