Hours after the Stephenville Police Department issued a warning to neighbors and residents living at the Patrick Apartments to stay inside on Sunday, a suspect in a child endangerment case was taken into custody.
A press release issued by the SPD states:
“During the investigation, the suspect fled prior to contact with officers.
“Following a thorough search, the suspect was located at the Patrick Apartments and taken into custody without further incident.
"Suspect was captured with the assistance of the Region 8 Special Operations Group (SOG) at the Patrick Apartments, located at 2215 W Lingleville Road.”
Captain Jeremy Lanier told Beneath the Surface News that the suspect’s identity will not be released until the investigation is complete.
