Spice up your life with a Cajun shrimp and sausage spaghetti squash bowl.

Healthy and full of flavor is the best way to describe this recipe for Cajun shrimp and sausage spaghetti squash bowls.


And it’s easy to make too!

WHAT’S IN IT


9 ounces Jennie-O turkey sausage


4 teaspoons olive oil


1/4 cup chopped onion


1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/4 cup water


1 tbsp. Cajun seasoning


1 ½ pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined


4 cups cooked spaghetti squash


1/4 cup chopped cilantro or parsley


2 tsp. fresh lime juice

HOW TO MAKE IT


Place sausage in large skillet and cook over medium-high heat for about 6 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.


Add olive oil, onions and garlic to skillet and cook for 2 minutes or until fragrant and turning translucent.


Add water and simmer for one minute.

Add Cajun seasoning, cooked sausage and shrimp to the pan and cook for three minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.


Stir in the cooked spaghetti squash, cilantro and lime juice and combine.


Remove from heat and serve, garnish with more cilantro or parsley if desired.


Makes 4 servings.
