Shooting in Dublin leaves one woman dead; suspect identified, but not yet taken into custody.

Dublin Police Chief Cameron Ray said Monday that there is a “very active and ongoing” investigation surrounding the shooting death of a female in Dublin on Sunday night.
Ray said police are still trying to positively identify the victim who is reportedly in her early 40s.
The victim apparently stopped to visit “an acquaintance” about 8 p.m. Sunday when she was shot and killed outside.
“We received several 9-1-1 calls from people in the area that heard the shooting,” Ray said.
A suspect has been identified, but has not been taken into custody.
Ray said the incident appears to be isolated and does not believe the public is in any danger.
