Search warrant leads to large recovery of stolen property, heroin, cocaine, meth and four arrests.

It was a really bad morning for four suspects in Ranger on Friday when investigators with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, SWAT, Ranger Police Department and Eastland County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and recovered a slew of stolen property and a whole lot of drugs.

Captain Ben Moore with the ECSO told Beneath the Surface News that a burglary of an Erath County residence about six months ago led to Friday’s search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Mesquite Street in Ranger where they found heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and nearly 100 pieces of stolen property.

Amanda Davis, Nathan Johnson and Micky Williams, all of Ranger, and Alex Wilkerson of Midlothian, were arrested at the scene and are being held at the Eastland County Jail.

Moore said the search warrant was issued for Amanda Davis’ residence after she was arrested last week in Benbrook for passing stolen checks from Erath County.

“We wrote a search warrant for her house hoping to recover other property from that burglary,” Moore said.

Needless to say, the investigation has now expanded and more charges and arrests are likely, Moore said.
