Say hi to Sprite and Blackie; this week’s featured pets.

This seriously cute kitten is up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society and I am in love.
Sprite is just eight weeks old and loves to purr and cuddle, ECHS executive director Serena Wright told me.
And young Blackie also needs a home.
He is a 1 to 2-year-old Shepherd mix that loves to dig and play with toys, but could use more training on his leash.
“He has a lot of energy,” Wright said. “He loves people but is not great with other dogs or cats and he is food aggressive.”
Blackie is also microchipped.
To meet Sprite, Blackie and the other 35 cats and 58 dogs that need a home, stop by the animal shelter at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
