Say hi to Sassy-the-dog and this three-legged cat. They are this week’s featured pets.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Sassy, a 10-year-old female Aussie heeler mix.
“She is a sweet older lady that needs time to get used to her new environment before she will come to you for attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“Even though she is an older dog, she is still pretty active and would love a home that can take her on frequent walks or has a backyard that she can explore.”
Sassy is housebroken, kennel trained and good on a leash. She should be the only pet in the home.
Sassy is spayed, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative and microchipped. Tryke is a six-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is a sweet older lady with three legs,” Serena said. “She would like to sleep on the bed with you but has a problem getting up there.”
Tryke gets along with dogs and other cats and will meow when she wants something.
She is also litter box trained and microchipped.
