Say hi to Dondo and Pineapple. They are this week’s featured pets.
This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Dondo, a 3-year-old male Boxer mix.
“He is a really sweet guy,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He loves attention, but doesn't like it when anyone is in his face so he would probably be best in a home without small children.”
Dondo is good with female dogs, but not males. He has shown some food aggression so should be left alone while eating or in a crate.
Dondo is heartworm negative and on prevention.
Pineapple is a two-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is a very sweet cat and seems to be dog friendly, but hates other cats,” Serena said. “She loves attention and playing with kitty toys. She is also litter box trained and microchipped.”
You can meet Dondo, Pineapple and the other 67 dogs and 93 cats that need new homes by stopping at the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
