Say hi to Atlas! This playful, funny cat is up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Atlas, a one to two-year-old male domestic shorthair.

“He absolutely loves attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News “He doesn't like to be picked up, but wants neck scratches.”

Atlas will need a little space to settle in to his new home and might benefit from being with other cats he can play with.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.

He has been at the shelter since September.

Coffee is a two to three-year-old male Red Heeler mix.

“He is a happy, friendly guy that is very food motivated,” Serena said. “He came in with hair loss that we believe is from a flea allergy. We have started flea prevention and his hair seems to be growing back.”

Coffee lived with other dogs, so should be dog friendly, but a meet and greet is always recommended.

He walks well on a leash but is very strong and tends to pull. He knows how to “sit” and will "shake" when there is a treat involved.

Coffee is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention.

He has been at the shelter since October.
