The Husband and I will not be awake when 2024 officially arrives on Monday.
Our New Year’s Eve tradition always involves dinner at a nice restaurant, good wine and an early return back home where we are fast asleep by 11 p.m.
Exciting, I know.
We have always preferred a low key celebration to the pop-the-cork midnight revelry most are accustomed to.
So when Newton’s Saddlerack offered early-evening dinner service on Sunday, we scooped up a reservation with our Supper Club friends.
Newton’s will kick off its New Year’s Eve celebration with live music by Holli Garet from 5-7 p.m.
A full dinner menu, which will include chef-inspired specials, and craft cocktails will be available from 4-9 p.m. (and I am looking forward to a lavender martini).
Tickets are not required, but reservations are recommended.
For those of you who will be awake at midnight, the Saddlerack bar will be open to ring in the New Year with a champagne toast.
Cheers to a safe, happy and prosperous 2024!
