Good Tree Assisted Living in Stephenville is making dreams come true for its residents.
Raydene Drennan is a self-taught golfer who fell in love with the sport 35 years ago.
In 1998 she played in 23 golf tournaments, and over the years, won five hole-in-one awards, was birdie queen several times and club champion for six years.
Today, Raydene lives at Good Tree and is no longer able to play the sports she loves, but the facility’s Tree of Dreams program reunited her with friends last week for a friendly game of putt-putt.
“She had the time of her life,” activity director Michelle Schlentz told Beneath the Surface News. “We brought in putt-putt and she was able to play with all of her golf buddies.”
Tree of Dreams grants wishes to a different resident every month.

Nice! I've been really into golf for the past few years. It's a sport that requires focus, patience, and precision, which I enjoy. Recently, I’ve been looking into getting a special golf cart to make my rounds more efficient. These carts: https://bayridgegolf.com/how-heavy-is-a-golf-cart-surprising-facts-revealed/ are not only convenient but also add a fun element to the game.
