Register now for the Stephenville Lions Club’s annual Spooktacular half marathon and fun run.

This isn’t a trick. It’s a treat.

Registration is now underway for runners and walkers to take part in the Stephenville Lions Club’s annual Spooktacular half marathon, 5k, 10k and one-mile fun run.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at Stephenville City Park pavilion.

Lions Club member Gerrit Schouten told Beneath the Surface News that proceeds will go directly back into the community by funding eye exams and glasses, a day-camp for special needs children and an angel tree project.
