Pet adoption, bake sale and coffee bar: Smooches with Pooches to raise money for ECHS.
A festive event with all kinds of fun this weekend will raise money for the Erath County Humane Society.
Smooches with Pooches will take place from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday at Pet Supplies Plus in Stephenville.
“This is an adoption event and PAWS will also be there with some dogs,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
There will also be a bake sale, photo booths and $10 microchipping. (The normal price is $40 to $60.)
And don’t let the chilly forecast scare you off.
Buzzed Brumby, a mobile coffee bar, will be there with a variety of delicious coffee to keep you warm.
The bake sale will be indoors and there will be a drive-thru station for microchipping to keep things moving quickly.
“We want to give a special thanks to Pet Supplies Plus for allowing us to have this event there,” Serena said.
