Par-Tee on the Green golf tourney raising money for playground renovations at Optimist-Jaycee Park. Here’s how to register.

The Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department and Optimist Club have partnered to host a golf tournament to raise money for repairs and renovations to the playground at Optimist-Jaycee Park.

Par-Tee on the Green will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, at Legends Country Club.

The shotgun start will begin at 9 a.m.

The team fee for the four-person scramble is $500 and includes breakfast and lunch.

SPARD recreation manager Shawna Glasgow told Beneath the Surface News that one of the Par 3 prizes is a $25,000 credit toward the purchase of a new car.
