Have a sweet tooth?
Try this French butter cake that’s sure to make you feel fancy at your next summer soiree.
It’s a cinch to make and oh-so-good!
WHAT YOU NEED
1 1/2 cups cake mix. (You choose flavor, I prefer yellow mix)
2 eggs
1 stick melted butter
Combine in a bowl; this will be thick.
In a stand mixer:
8-oz softened cream cheese
4 cups powdered sugar
2 eggs
Dash of vanilla
Mix until creamy; press cake mixture into a lined and greased 9x13-inch pan.
Pour cream cheese mixture on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
This needs to cook until not jiggly, however, a fork will not come out clean.
Let cool on counter for a couple hours until it sets.

In this horror visual novel, the circus does not come to town so much as it comes for you. The Freak Circus builds its terror through the rhythm of rehearsed smiles and whispered confessions. A game of shifting loyalties plays out under coloured lights, where the line between audience and exhibit keeps thinning until it disappears.
Fantastic breakdown of the topic! This really helped me understand it better.

French butter cake is so underrated. Dense, rich, and perfect with coffee. So many recipes overcomplicate it, but the beauty is in the simplicity – good butter, good technique, patience.
The texture when you get it right is unforgettable. Crispy edges, tender crumb, and that deep buttery flavor that lingers. Perfect with a strong cup of coffee or tea.
Reminds me of https://bitoque.ca/ – different kind of craft, same idea. Simple ingredients done right beat complicated every time.
Thanks for sharing this. Will definitely be making it this weekend
