Tarleton State University’s Division of Student Engagement and Success has forged a partnership between the Student Resources and Basic Needs Department, food vendor Sodexo and the Tarrant Area Food Bank to address student food insecurity.
Student Resources and Basic Needs supports students with challenges they may face in college.
The mission is to help Tarleton students stay in school and graduate. The department assists with food, textbooks, fees, housing and transportation.
“I’m tremendously thankful for our new partnerships with Tarrant Area Food Bank and Sodexo,” said department director Dr. Babette Cuadrado. “We are especially honored to be able to order weekly for the Purple Pantry.”
The Purple Pantry provides food items 24/7 for Tarleton students.
