Moo-La Fest is looking for a few volunteers. Can you help?

Moo-La Fest is set to lift off June 2-4 and as officials with the City of Stephenville make final preparations for the event, they are looking for a few volunteers (like you!).

“We are looking for a few good men and women to serve as ambassadors,” Michaela Bierman, manager of the Tourism and Visitors Bureau told Beneath the Surface News. “It will take many great volunteers to get this event off the ground - no pun intended.

“Moo-La Fest has a lot of moving parts, and we know the success of our event depends on our amazing volunteers.”

Volunteer roles will vary.

The city is looking for residents 15 and older to help on Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4, at Stephenville City Park.

Duties will include set up, tear down, answering questions from the public, assisting vendors and helping with trash pick-up.

Hot air balloon volunteers will need to be capable of handling large audiences and do heavy lifting.

“Our volunteers will need to be able to handle large crowds and have a high level of charisma and professionalism,” Michaela said.

The city will provide T-shirts to volunteers and give service hours to high school and college students.
