Meet Minty. This sweet cat is looking for a comfy, calm place to call home.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Minty, a quiet, easygoing cat who only wants a comfy bed, calm space and someone who appreciates a certified couch potato.
“Minty is a gentle little sweetheart who was brought in as a stray, and sadly, never reclaimed,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“Now she's hoping her next stop will be her forever home.”
While in foster care, Minty was an absolute lovebug. She adored cuddling, got along wonderfully with the other cats and would quietly explore the house during late-night wanderings.
She gets along with strangers and uses a litter box like a pro.
Minty is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.
Max is a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love.
“He was surrendered with four other dogs through no fault of his own, and despite everything, he continues to shine with a soft, trusting spirit,” Serena said.
“He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his playful, curious personality comes bursting through.”
Like most young pups, Max is still learning the basics and is eager to explore the world.
He likes to chew, so strong, durable toys are a must.
“Max has already shown what an amazing companion he can be,” Serena said.
“In his foster home, he did wonderfully with other dogs, was respectful of cats and adored spending time with children.”
Max is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention.
