Meet Mattress Firm: This sleepy lovebug is looking for a permanent home.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Mattress Firm, a two-year-old male domestic medium hair.
“He loves a comfy bed and likes to bat around his toys,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “While he loves attention, he will sometimes flinch, but usually comes right back.”
Mattress Firm tends to purr when people talk to him.
He has received an FVRCP vaccination, is microchipped and litter box trained.
“He is not neutered yet, but if adopted before he is neutered, we will set up a date to have it done,” Serena said.
LC is an 11-month-old female Hound/Shepherd mix.
“She is a very sweet girl that likes being right up next to you,” Serena said. “She is a ‘velcro’ dog that will follow you around and stick right by your feet.”
LC walks well on a leash and is dog, cat and kid-friendly.
“She is mostly house trained, just needs a little work. She is low energy, but does have a tendency to chew on things when left alone, so crating is recommended,” she said.
LC is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heart worm prevention.
