Make plans to attend this hamburger supper, dessert auction benefiting volunteer fire departments.

After casting your vote on Saturday, May 6, head to the Erath County Volunteer Fire Rescue station on East Road in Stephenville to enjoy a hamburger supper and dessert auction hosted by the auxiliary.
The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and include a hamburger, chips and drink for $10.
The dessert auction begins at 7.
“We will have close to 60 desserts; everything from cookies and cheesecakes to pies and banana pudding,” Amanda Sims, vice president of the auxiliary, told Beneath the Surface News.
The event is the auxiliary’s only fundraiser of the year, which raises money for food, water, supplies and equipment for the county’s volunteer fire departments.
