Do you know a teacher, police officer, firefighter or nurse that has gone above-and-beyond the call of duty to serve Erath County and deserves a little recognition?
If so, Leslie Walker Farmers Insurance wants to hear from you.
Leslie and her team at Farmers Insurance will honor a hometown hero each month with a feature story on Beneath the Surface News.
Nominate your choice for Erath County Heroes by emailing carlene.lwalker@farmersagency.com.
Write a brief note describing the person, how they serve the community and why you think they deserve to be recognized.
You can also mail nominations to Farmers Insurance, Attn: Erath County Heroes, 155 N. Graham #102, Stephenville TX 76401. Please include your name and phone number.
A panel of judges will select each month’s winner, who will receive a certificate of appreciation, gift certificate to a local business, gift basket and their coworkers will receive treats in their honor.
The heroes will be announced on the third Wednesday of each month.
On the following Wednesday a new category (teacher, healthcare worker, law enforcement, etc.) will be announced and the nomination process will reopen.
